Cold, Snowy, or Rainy Day activities-
Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum- The Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum's mission is to "preserve, display, and honor Alaska's aviation heritage."
The kids can see cool airplanes! In the summer, you can see planes ladning and taking off in the nearby lake.
Barnes and Noble- Sit down in a corner and read board books or your little ones can play at the train table. Make sure you grab a book first
before you visit the train table!
Classic Toys- Locally owned toy store where your little ones can play with some toys. They also have odds and ins for infants.
Over the Rainbow Toys- Great local toy store that has several tables that your little ones can play at! Be prepared to drag little Tommy out though!
Turf Tots- The Alaska Dome opens the field up for toddlers to run free from 6am-2pm Mon-Fri $5 per kid
Storytime at the Library- Each library has a storytime for babies to preschoolers. Make sure you check out website to find out times and locations.
Afterwards, go to the kids section and check out a couple of books!
Park & Rec Activities- There are several classes offered for different ages. Toddletime and Kindergym is a great activity for toddlers and preschoolers
to run some of that energy out!
Imaginarium- Science center for kids with hands on activities. They have relocated to Anchorage Museum and the new wing will open May
2010. The Imaginarium will be open on the 3rd floor of the Museum while the new wing is buying built.
Anchorage Museum- They are having a Science in Toyland exhibit from Sept 19-Jan 3, 2010 and the companion to this exhibit is Artists at Play.
The Imaginarium will be moving in the new wing in May 2010.
Arctic Gymnastics-
M-F from 9-11am they open the gym for little ones to play on the equipment, jump in the
foam pit, jump on the trampoline, and run around. $10 per child, $50 for punch card with 11 punches. Alaska's Kids Members
receive a discount with playdate.
Arctic Playgroundz- FINALLY, a place where moms can get a cup of coffee and let kids run around, instead of in their own home! There are snacks
to buy for the little ones. The built in playground is geared towards kids 6 and under. There is a little area just for babies!

Alaska Museum of Natural History- Hand's on museum where you can see dinosaur skeletons and dig fossils! Check out times for toddlers.
Bouncin' Bears- Little ones can bounce their way through each inflatable slide. 2 locations in Anchorage! Alaska's Kids members recieve
discount for playdates. We love Bouncin Bears Best!!
For the Fun of it- Take the little ones to burn off steam as they jump and slide on inflatables. You can rent as well for bday parties.
Pump It Up- Inflatable party zone Mon- Fro 10-11:30 2-5 year olds can play $8 per kid
H2Oasis- Indoor water park for kids of all ages. Offers Toddler/Parent sessions Mon-Fri 11am-2pm.
McDonalds Playland-
I know, I know, its not Alaskan, BUT when you kids are driving you cray and it's -5, you need to run out that energy and
for FREE! These are the locations that have playlands and are wireless: Muldoon/Tudor, Abbott/Lake Otis, Spenard/Wisconsin,
and Dimond/Jewel Lake.
